The New Yorker Radio Hour, “Klancy Miller Talks with Helen Rosner”

Klancy Miller’s “Cooking Solo” was published in 2016, but it’s a book that Helen Rosner has come back to often during the pandemic, when restaurant meals and dinner guests were not possible. Miller is a food writer and founder of For the Culture: A Magazine Celebrating Black Women and Femmes in Food and Wine. Her insight in “Cooking Solo” is not so much about what to cook, as who to cook for: she espouses the belief that you, the cook, should treat yourself just as well as you would treat any loved one or guest.
